*Showcasing different types?
Original artwork is created to be beautiful, lightning with lots of color and creative individual Style. When a mural is created for a commission like the picture of the mall. This is based off the clients ideas and they're branding and it has to be designed that way to have a certain look so it makes sense to their campaign and has to play with their artwork. It doesn't mean a commission or original artwork, is better than the other they're just different and they have different purposes they both have the intent to share something beautiful with the public but one is more personal and one is more executed with someone else's intent in mind.
* What is the difference between canvas & murals?
What is the difference between custom canvas and creating a custom piece of artwork for someone with your style and their vision. Painting a custom canvas and a commission mural of your design is that they're both approached the same way as far as creating a beautiful piece of artwork that someone can live with but with the canvas it's a lot smaller more of a controlled area. You really need to think of how to position the artwork so it's intriguing to the viewer just like a mural but even more personalized with painting a custom mural of your design it's very much like painting a canvas but on a larger scale and it comes with different strategies to create this piece of art to fit in the person's personal space. Has to be positioned so the viewer can enjoy it for multiple angles.
*What are some mural themes?
My opinion what makes a quality mural is when someone takes the time to design the piece of art with their storytelling involved to make it have more of a life to it I think when designing you need to think of the layering process and your perspective of where you going to place your characters your different elements your background and how they're all going to come together to tell a story in the end I think when you approach a mural in this way it gives it more longevity and each time you come back to it you see something that you didn't see the first time opposed to creating something that's really flat and conveys the message in one thought but then again this is just my opinion.
*What is your art style in a mural?
Style that you like to paint? I like to paint a surrealistic version of graffiti that has lots of perspective and photorealism and elements of three-dimensional objects floating in and out of the mural to give depth I also like to paint with a lot of colors to bring energy to the painting and a feeling of life and movement.
